19.09.11 - A little update from Scott!

Hi guys

Fist I apologies as it’s been way too long since I last blogged. I will try and make sure they're more regular. OK, so what have we been up to since the last one?????

Again, so much has happened, it will be hard for me not to go on quite a bit.We had a whirlwind few weeks after the single and the mini album release!.

We performed at the Pop Party in the Park in Clumber, Nottingham which was an amazing gig. Back stage we mingled with The Wanted, N Dubz and the Parade girls were very friendly and a right laugh.

The next day we went from there to Market Rasen for a Peter Andre support at the race course. What a gig!!! The crowd were going mad and as it was one of the few outdoor gigs where it has started to get dark when we were on, we decided to do that Robbie Williams thing and get the crowd to all take a pic of us at the same time. It was awesome, the sky just lit up with the camera flashes and we felt just like superstars. Lol!!! If anyone reading this took a pic then please post on our Facebook or Twitter as I've only seen about 10 of them and there must have been at least 1,000 taken!!

A gig that deserves a special mention was our home coming gig at The Concorde Club in Southampton. This was our first ever headline and we were probably more nervous than any gig ever…. Also I think it is even more nerve racking with all our family and friends there as well, but we needn’t have worried, it was great and we really enjoyed it. I want to also say a special thanks to everyone that travelled from all over the country for this one. You guys are AMAZING and we do really appreciate it. We also got some very special presents from fans at the Concorde and that only went to make the night even more special!!!!! It's official TR4 fans are THE BEST!!!

After that we did the Blackpool Lights Switch. Again, what an amazing gig. This one was made even more special by the fact we got a KEITH LEMON stage invasion!!! We are all massive fans of Celebrity Juice and would love to go on the show. So Keith if you’re reading this………. We later performed at the VIP event in the Blackpool Tower and we loved it. The audience were a bit tough at first, but we won them over. I think Nathan singing to a slightly mature, (don't want to say old in case she reads this) lady while sitting on her lap helped a bit. Lol!!!

After all of the running up and down the country we've been doing for the last year, our Management very kindly let us have a holiday!!! I've been to Rhodes and managed to chill nicely, but came back and got a bout of man flu. A lot of the fans have suggested that this is probably due to the sleeping naked that I tweet about. You're a cheeky lot, but I love ya's!!!

Anyway a quick sneaky plug before I go....Don't forget the Single 'Take It All' and the Mini Album 'Crying Out Loud' so if you haven't already, then treat yourself!!!! It's available on itunes and all other good (legal) download sites.

Thanks for reading my blog and enjoy the rest of your day.

Much Love, Scott xxx

16.08.11 - An update from the Scott!

Hi guys

Ok iv just sat down with a cup of peppermint tea after doing a 3 mile run. Started this new training plan which is meant to get me buff ha ha we will see????So the last time we blogged was just before the single release so that means this is going to be another long one! What a surprise :-).

I'm going to start by quickly talking about the Katherine Jenkins support at Lytham Proms. The gig was so good even thou we were worried about the crowd not being interested in our music as they were there for the opera but they were incredible and we were blown away by the response we got. That was a gig to remember and i must say Katherine was beautiful and what a stunning voice. I could watch her for hours!!!! Lets move on quickly lol.

Now we get onto the single release. We were on our way to ireland on the 7th so we were really excited the fact that our single was now available on itunes and all the other sites plus we were going to Newcastle in ireland to gig with Chipmunk, Frank music, Hard Fi, and one of my favourite artists at the moment Ed Sheeran. How lucky are we getting to meet all these talented artists!!!. The gig was great and so was the Guinness :-). Id like to say that we are very grateful for all your support through the past year and its down to you that we get the chance to live out our dreams so give yourself a big kiss and hug from me!!!! If you get the chance to come to one of our gigs then i will give you one myself lol.

Another gig we had was Brid Bash and i know a lot of you came to see us which is amazing and thank you for that. It was the second time that we have been to Bridlington. the first was for a radio interview to promote our single plus the gig for Viking Fm. It was sunny at that time but unfortunately the heavens had opened on the day of the gig but it didn't dampen the atmosphere as the crowds outside queuing were massive and the venue was rammed. id like to thank Vicky for looking after us all day, we didn't want for anything!!!!. I cant wait to go back next year that's if they will have us....... i'm sure they will???. After the gig we had to head straight back to london so no partying for us as we had to be up early for This Morning. As most of you did see the interview and live performance of 'EMPTY BOTTLES' off our mini ep which is out now on all good download sites. We were a little nervous as it was a little bit of pressure cos its live we didn't want to make any mistakes but it went really well and i loved meeting Coleen and Paddy. They were such a laugh, no likey no lighty lol i love that show. I'm not sure if i could actually go on that show. Me and the boys were chatting about what song we would come down in the lift to??? My choice was Lighthouse family 'High'. Glenn's was Right said Fred 'im too sexy' ha ha ha ha he will kill me for saying that!!!!!

Ok where were we, got a bit side tracked then. How could i forget, Crealy Rocks.... This is probably one of my personal favourites as we got to have pyrotechnics on two of our songs out of the set. There was about 6/8,000 people in the crowd and didn't we hear them!!! They were so much fun and got them singing throughout the set. Big thanks to all you that came to the gig at Crealy, i hope we can do it again next year??? maybe Headline :-). If you want to see any of the pics from these events just go to our website TheReason4.com and check them out. Lucky for us we had the next day off so i cooked a lovely roast dinner which i haven't made one in a long time and it was delicious, and watched my team Chelsea draw against Stoke :-(.

Right peeps i'm off now, so enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for taking time to read my blog. Means a lot to me and the boys. Also remember if you haven't already to download your copy of 'CRYING OUT LOUD' on all good download sites and give us your honest opinion of what you think??

Catch up again soon x

Scott A.K.A Teeth lol

P.S. Remember stay cool, sleep naked lol

07.08.11 - Take It All OUT NOW!!

The time has come guys, our debut single is out now!! You can download from any of the links below!..

03.08.11 - An update from the Lads!

Hi guys

You wouldn't believe it but all four of us are going to write the blog this week as it's less than a week until the release of Take it All on August 7.

We all want to thank you for your ongoing support, tweets, Facebook messages and general love, it's all appreciated. We try to get back to you all but it's pretty hectic so if we don't get back to you straight away bear with us!

Right, where do we start? It's been two weeks since the last blog and so much has happened as you can probably tell from Facebook. One of the most exciting things has been going to Magaluf to support Peter Andre. We were hoping for sun, sea, sand and.....singing lol. It was an amazing experience and although we didn't get to see too much sun we had an amazing time and for the first time in a while there were a few sore heads in the TR4 camp the next morning!

We've had two massive gigs in the UK - one at Tramlines in Sheffield in front of 12,500 people and the other was Party in the Park in Leeds (in front of 77,000 people, woah!) where we got to meet JLS, The Wanted and Jay Sean to name but a few. Head over to our Facebook and Twitter pages to check out all the pics. We've got plenty more to look forward to as well, including supporting Katherine Jenkins, more Peter Andre dates and we're heading off to Ireland on Sunday.

We also did our first National TV performance of Take It All on This Morning, they liked us so much they're having us back on 12th August for an interview and to sing Empty Bottles live. We are now on 60 Regional Radio Stations, which means that our music is getting heard by thousands of people up and down the country, which gives us such a buzz!

This is the last blog before the single so we really want to thank you all for your support. Keep up the good work plugging the single - we want to get into the charts and if we don't make it we might have to get rid of the tall goofy one!

Big TR4 love to you all, you mean everything to us!

TR4 x

Take it All out August 7 on iTunes, Amazon and Play.com and any good download sites.

01.08.11 - Take It All released THIS SUNDAY!

Well guys, it's nearly time! Take It All will be released this Sunday (7th August), you can buy a special bundle from iTunes which includes an exclusive Uniting Nations remix of Take It All and two YES TWO B-sides! - Better Man and The Reason.

12.07.11 - Another weekly update from Scott!

Right guys,

Sorry it's a little late but we have been so busy and we have just stopped now! It's 23.40 and I've just been for a run with Marc along the sea front in Exeter. Now I've had a shower and made a cuppa. It's just me the tea, bed and you lol.

Plus it's the first time while we've been doing promo that I've had my own room!! It's kinda strange cos sharing with the others have it's perks, but I'm going to enjoy the big double bed!! I'm certainly going to stay cool tonight if you get what I mean ha ha.

So last week was a really important week for us as we had a showcase at the BBC in front of all the industry people on Wednesday. We were so excited as we were performing with a live band which we had never done before. So on Tuesday we headed to London bridge and rehearsed all day getting ready for the real thing. The noise was unbelievable but off the hook. We had Eliot on bass, Andy on keys, jim on guitar and jeff on the drums. It made it easier as we knew them before hand, but now it made us want to sing with a live band every time we perform. (petty expensive for now. When the moment came to perform on the day we really rose to the occasion, It was terrifying, but at the same time the most amazing feeling. It went so well and everyone there seemed impressed with us, so fingers crossed for what comes from that!! :-)

Let's tell you about the gig we have just done supporting Peter Andre in Ipswich. I think it's up there with the best of them. We got to the venue early around the same time as Peter, so we had all day to chill with him and his team and get to know them and have a good laugh. So that was cool cos usually its all a rush and you don't really get time to do that. We were the only support act there, so that felt great too and the crowd were so vocal it made it so easy for us to do our thing. I'd like to say thanks to everyone that did come and support us and Peter, as the weather was not great but you were still all in good spirits. I'm hoping we gained a few more Reason4 fans!!!.

I'm actually starting to nod off ha ha. That's what Glenn does all the time. Falls asleep while he is texing! It's so funny when you actually watch him do it. :-)

I'm going to have to leave ya there and get some sleep. Thanks for reading the blogs I write and hope you enjoy them!! I promise I will write more next week lol.

Scott A.K.A Big Red.

Ps. We are off to Magaluf on Sunday for two days so big red is coming out for sure!!!!!!. =)

05.07.11 - Another weekly update from Scott!

Hi everyone,

Before i tell you about the most amazing week we have had i would like to say to you all, thanks for supporting us through the past year cos without you guys we wouldnt be here releasing our first single. Also a BIG thanks to everyone who came to support us on the first two dates on the Peter Andre tour(wigan/fontwell) its great to see you all there cheering us along!!!! . Il talk about that part a little more later but first get comfortable and put ur feet up cos this is probably going to be another long blog ha ha.

I also want to say before i start that this is probably the best week we have had in our careers as artists so far and hope there will be alot more to come.:-)

So last week was the start of our very first radio tour. We started off in our home town at Breeze which was a good start seen as we have been there a few times already. We ended the first day in brighton in the BBC. The week was pretty much non stop as we had our manager Denise working us to the bone. We were so busy that we hardly ate!!! Mind you on the second day on the road we ended up in sheffield(our 2nd home) but on the way to sheffield (Nathan driving at the time) started to run out of fuel. He is so laid back nothing fazes him and it was only when the fuel light came on and we were in the middle of nowhere he started to worry. But luckily enough we just so happened to go past a pub we went to a month before where they do the best fish & chips and even better than that sticky toffee pudding with custard. So we let him off on that one. We didn't mind being stuck there ha ha.

Every day was kind of the same with radio interviews and sitting in the van with 3 other smelly lads ha ha. Oh yea we had to do some live acoustic sets at some of the stations which was nerve racking cos i play the guitar but it was only a hobby. Like some people say 'Thrown in at the deep end'. But to my surprise i played well and the boys sounded great as per usual.

Not sure if you have seen Bridesmaids in the cinema yet but we were dragged to see it kicking and screaming (yea right) by our manager Denise on thursday in manchester and it was absolutely hilarious. I love a good chick flick and this one was great. Just thinking about it makes me laugh plus the others are secret chick flick lovers really lol.

Told you this will be a long one!! and by the way you can see all the photo's from the week on our website. Now we are at the point where i tell you how amazing the first gig with Peter Andre at wigan was. We started off by doing radio interviews in the morning and got to sound check around 1.30pm. Around the same time as Jedward. What an experience that was. I don't think i have ever met anyone who has more energy than them. One would have been ok but two!! come on give me a break ha ha. They were so much fun and they also let me and glenn put on their bright red jackets. We looked so cool! The sound check was great but by the time it was time to go on we were so nervous. We didn't need to be cos it was incredible, the crowd were great and everything went well. We even jumped off stage and climbed on the speakers. A moment of madness but fun all the same.

Lets quickly get onto the Fontwell gig. This was a special one for us as we had some of our families come and they haven't seen us perform at this level before so its nice to give something back to them to say thanks for all their support. This one was kind of the same, the crowd was amazing and the funny thing was at both gigs the crowd were singing our songs that we have never performed before and that their was a special moment for all of us. So thanks to you all once again!!!

Right i'm going to leave it there cos the sun is shinning and iv only got today off so i'm going to get my kit off and tan myself up in the sun!!! They don't call me big red for nothing lol.

Take care guys and i will catch up with ya next week x

Scott A.K.A Big Red :-) x

27.06.11 - Another update from Scott!

Hey guys, its only 42 more days till we release our first debut single 'Take it all'. How cool is that!!!

Well last week was a very exciting week all round. It started of with a full press day in london and a early viewing of our video to 'Take it all'. We were all expecting a relaxed day and a bit of fun, but it was anything but that apart from the FUN!! part. Press days are full on but we do love being interviewed cos we like to wind up each other, especially nathan. He told one magazine while marc was in the toilet that his inspirations were Steps, Spice girls etc. The funny thing was they actually published it on line ha ha.

So lets tell you about the video viewing. It was still only early days but actually watching your first video being made is so exciting. It portrays us very well. I'm sure you guys will love it. We should have it back very soon!! You must of seen a few still shots on our website? If not jump on it and have a look!!

Now we are onto the Lemar support on friday at the concorde club in our home town southampton. The gig was a sell out and bearing in mind everyone who bought a ticket were there to see Lemar we went down a storm and i'm sure we managed to turn the whole club into Reason4 fans ha ha.

There is still so much to talk about so make yourself a cuppa and keep reading!!!

After the Lemar gig we set off for the lovely city of Sheffield to record the last two songs of the album and it went so well. It was very exciting knowing that the album was complete but sad in a way of that we became one big family up there and its come to an end. I'm actually starting to well up ha ha only kidden!.

To celebrate the fact that we finished our very first record we went for a meal with all the team at steelworks studio then hit the town. Bearing in mind we are not big drinkers apart from Marc(ex alcoholic ha ha) only kidden. He will kill me for saying that! We got wasted and i'm still recovering now so i'm going to leave it there for now.

Remember our Single is now ready to pre order on itunes so please show your support and tell your friends too, to get downloading. You can also tex 'track 7373' to 80818- PC download Or 'track 7373 m' to 80818- mobile download

What a long blog this week but you know me!!!! The radio tour starts tomorrow so look out for next weeks blog as im sure there will be so much to tell you, oh yea also we start the Peter Andre tour :-). BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!

take care guy and speak to you next week.

20.06.11 - An update from Scott!

Hey there again.....

Its been a week already and hasn't it flown by!!! Well as you all should already know our single 'Take It All' is out on the 7th August so its all promo at the moment and aren't they working us hard lol.

Last week was kind of exciting as we had a gig at the 2Brewers on Friday night which was exciting for us as we performed there right after we came off the X Factor and the response was amazing so we were buzzing about going back. At the start of the week we had Mon/Tues/Weds to rehearse to make sure the harmonys were perfect and on thursday we had a full day of press in London. Press days are great cos we get the chance to have some fun and get our personalities across, well my personality as the others are dull ha ha. They will kill me for saying that!!!

The best part of the press day for me was that we were just walking into Sony offices when we bumped into Mark Webber the F1 Driver, what a nice guy! i'm a big fan but didn't tell him its the brits all the way ha ha. Also i forgot to mention the fact that we had to perform an acoustic set for M Magazine and its only the second time iv played the guitar with the boys cos it was only ever a hobby of mine. What a buzz that was but it sounded great and went down really well.

So back to the 2Brewers and what a night... we sung 6 songs and 4 were our own from our Album 'Crying Out Loud' and they went down a storm, and as it was the first time we actually sung them at a gig the response was amazing so plenty more of that to come!!!!

Sorry i'm babbling on again.... I'm going to have to find a way of cutting these shorter but its going to be hard cos i love to chat lol. Well ill leave it there but i will catch up with you guys next week as there will be more exciting stuff to tell you as we get closer to the release.

catch ya later

Scott A.K.A Badboy4life ha ha i wish!!!!

14.06.11 - A Blog from Scott!

Hi guys, This is a first biog for me so i will try and keep it short but i'm not going to guarantee it!!!. So where do i start? It must be a year ago now since we stood on the stage at XFactor and what a rollercoaster ride its been since. From leaving the show we signed our very first publishing deal with SONY ATV and signed a record deal with FarWest Entertainment. I'm going to give as much info as poss about what we have done so far then i can Blog about everything that we are doing now and keep it up to date each week and maybe let you in on some band secrets?? There are so many things to tell you i don't know where to start but here i go......

We are releasing our debut single 'TAKE IT ALL' on the 7th August which i cant wait for!! Its such an amazing feeling knowing that we will be in the charts competing against the artists we have admired over the years (how cool). We have written and co-written every song on the album with the help of the big man Eliot Kennedy (spice girls, Celine Dion, Take That etc) and Andy Murray, not the tennis player although i think he can play? who has worked with Sugar Babes, Craig David, Cathy Dennis etc). This is probably the thing we are most proud of as the album feels like its apart of us! Told you i can chat lol.

I could carry on all day and night but im in the middle of writing this blog and watching Jackass 3 and i'm in stitches :-). So i'm going to have to come to an end but check us out on FacebooK, twitter and also look out for our twitcams. They are sure to put a smile on ur face!!!!!!!!

So guys its bye for now and thank you for supporting The Reason 4. Scott aka Big Red/teeth or whatever Glenn wants to call me!!
